How do I become a Volunteer?

We have an outstanding group of volunteers, I think they're the world's best actually, who are exceptionally welcoming and great fun to be with.

We encourage you to come along and observe for a couple of times.

You will need to get a Catholic Education Police Clearance which is free, we provide you with the paperwork.

We have visiting groups on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9.45am - 2pm.

TIMETABLE

You may wish to come along for the whole day or just part of it - we often need most help from 12.30 - 2.00pm.

Please call Ursula or email her if you would like more information.

Our volunteers are a very special part of the Marine Discovery Centre. Through their personal contributions to support our visitors and their learning, assisting with cleaning and maintenance of our aquariums and the Centre we have been able to offer a high quality experience. We are indeed very lucky to have such a caring, committed group of people.
