4. Two big books: “Beachwalk” and
“Sea Snails and friends” - $160

The price of $160 includes one copy of each book. Each book is 42 cm high and 30 cm wide with 18 pages in each.

These new books are part of our storybooks series. They have been developed through real-life experiences. We believe these storybooks capture the essence of our centre and will be a wonderful series for all to enjoy.

Marine Education Activities for all Primary school levels up to year 7.

Years R-2: There are about 18 activities, including “My t-shirt, What can you find on the beach? Caring for the Coast, Hidden Creatures”, for students to do and also includes a section about Background Teacher Information.

Years 3-5: There are about 14 activities, including “What is sand?, Water Cycle, Design a “Seafood Menu”, Friend of the Dunes”, for students to do and also includes a section about Background Teacher Information.

Years 6-7: There are about 15 activities, including “Leafy Card, Threats to the Oceans, Cuttlebone Designs, Longshore Drift Experiment”, for students to do and also includes a section about Background Teacher Information.

6. A set of coastal posters (8 different) with Question and Answer booklet - $70

Eight posters featuring local South Australian marine information, beautiful photographs, up-to-date information, outstanding drawings by local artist Alison Harvey. Includes an activity pack with questions and answers for 6 - 11 year levels.

Each poster is 59.5 cm x 40 cm.

There are about 32 exciting marine activities, mainly for R-3 year levels activities, including “Seal Mask, Find-a-word, Crustacean Mobile, Leafy Seadragon Card, Draw with numbers – use sea creatures, Silver Gull – puzzle”.
